Privacy policy

Protecting your privacy is of paramount importance to us. This statement explains in detail how we process personal data when you use our website or our services.

1. Controller

Responsible for data processing:

WebMix Schindelholz
Sankt Karli-Strasse 11
6004 Lucerne, Switzerland
E-mail: info@registriert.ch

2. Data collection on our website

We process data that you provide to us or that is generated technically when operating the site:

  • Server logs: on each visit to our site, the hosting provider automatically stores information (IP address, browser type, date/time, referrer URL). This serves security and technical stability.
  • Account and order data: we store name, postal address, phone number and e-mail address in order to carry out the automated monitoring and registration of Internet addresses.
  • Communication: data from inquiries via e-mail or contact form are stored to process your request.

3. Cookies & Matomo

We use cookies to ensure the functionality of the site (e.g. login status). In addition, we use Matomo for anonymised web analytics.

Unlike other analytics tools, Matomo data is stored exclusively on our own Swiss servers. There is no transmission to third parties (such as Google). IP addresses are anonymised before storage.

4. Data security & retention period

All data transmissions are encrypted (SSL/TLS). Your data is stored on secure systems in Switzerland. We retain your data only as long as required for the purpose of processing or by statutory retention obligations.

5. Transfer to third parties

A transfer only takes place if it is strictly necessary for the performance of the contract (e.g. to the official registry upon a successful domain registration) or if there is a legal obligation.

6. Your rights

Under the applicable data protection law you have the right to:

  • Access to the data we hold about you.
  • Rectification of incorrect data.
  • Erasure of your data (unless there is a statutory retention obligation to the contrary).
  • Restriction of processing.
  • Provision of your data in a common format (data portability).
